CONCOURSE COMMUNICATIONS LAUNCHES WI-FI NETWORK AT BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL THURGOOD MARSHALL AIRPORT (BWI) Neutral-Host Network Offers Travelers Internet Access via Boingo Wireless, as well as through Roaming Relationships BALTIMORE – March 7, 2007 – Concourse Communications Group, LLC, the world’s leading operator of airport neutral-host wireless access systems, today announced that the high-speed Wi-Fi network at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is now operational in all secure areas of the airport. Access in baggage claim and ticket counters will be completed by the end of March 2007. Concourse partnered with BAA Maryland, developer and manager of the AIRMALL® at BWI, and the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) to install a fast, easy-to-use, neutral-host Wi-Fi network to benefit BWI passengers and concessionaires. The network’s comprehensive coverage includes Concourses A, B, C, D and E of the BWI terminal and BAA Maryland’s AIRMALL®. “The Wi-Fi network at BWI is testament to the progressive approach the Maryland Aviation Administration takes in implementing services within the airport,” said Orlando Saez, vice president of airport marketing for Concourse Communications Group. “Leveraging BAA Maryland’s concession management experience to expedite contract assignment and accelerate installation of a full-coverage network really helped us meet BWI’s time-to-market goals for launching the WI-Fi network for all airport audiences.” Concourse, a Boingo Wireless company, designed and installed the network, and operates the system for the benefit of travelers, airport employees and concessionaires within BAA Maryland’s AIRMALL®. The neutral-host network is designed to enable roaming access via existing partnerships (e.g., AT&T Wi-Fi, GoRemote, iPass and T-Mobile) to increase usage and maximize non-airline revenue. Additionally, travelers can purchase Internet access services in the airport from Boingo Wireless for $7.95/day. This day pass includes access to BWI and other North American Boingo Hot Spots for 24 hours from the time of purchase. For frequent travelers, Boingo offers a monthly account plan for $21.95, which provides unlimited access to hot spots in North and South America, with access to premium hot spots in Europe and Asia provided for additional fees. Boingo’s hot spot network includes more than 60,000 locations around the world, including more than 300 airports. “We are pleased to offer the traveling public Wi-Fi service so that passengers can access important files, communicate with the office, loved ones or simply “surf the net,” while experiencing the AIRMALL® and BWI,” said Patrick Walsh, Vice President for BAA Maryland. “With connectivity being a high priority, we are certain the service will be an asset to travelers as well as the airport.” ”We expect the new Wi-Fi network will greatly enhance the travel experience at BWI,” said Timothy L. Campbell, A.A.E., Executive Director of the MAA.
