SkyNetGlobal opens access to Asian Wi-Fi network including 119 McDonalds in Singapore to Boingo, the leading Wi-Fi software and aggregation company SYDNEY - February 10, 2004 - SkyNetGlobal (ASX SKG), today announced it has signed a network roaming agreement with Boingo Wireless™, Santa Monica, Calif., to provide Boingo®’s customers and its Platform Services partners access to SkyNetGlobal’s wireless hotspots in Australia and Singapore. Boingo is the leading Wi-Fi network aggregator worldwide with nearly 6,000 locations in 29 countries and has been aggressively expanding its Boingo Roaming System in Asia. This network is a key asset for Boingo’s Platform Services program, a turnkey Wi-Fi service for service providers that also includes award-winning client software and a complete suite of back-office billing and roaming software. Current announced Platform Services partners include EarthLink, Fiberlink, Infonet Services Corp., MCI and Telecom Italia. Under the agreement, Boingo will buy wholesale network access from SkyNetGlobal across all its 130 wireless hotspots in Australia and Singapore. This network includes hot spots at 119 McDonalds restaurants throughout Singapore. This network is a key asset for Boingo’s Platform Services program, a turnkey Wi-Fi service for service providers that also includes award-winning client software and a complete suite of back-office billing and roaming software.
