Boingo will offer free service at 3GSM World Congress via Visacom's high-quality network SANTA MONICA, Calif. and SOPHIA-ANTIPOLIS, France - February 17, 2004 - Visacom’s fast-growing hot spot network includes more than 30 French locations from Paris to the island of Corsica. Visacom has service in business hotels including Hotel Intercontinental, Le Meridien, and Hotel Best Western, and in resorts and casinos including Partouche Group casinos and several Club Med locations. The network also serves the two airports on Corsica. Boingo is the leading Wi-Fi network aggregator worldwide with nearly 6,000 locations worldwide and has been aggressively expanding its Boingo Roaming System in Europe, with more than 3,000 hot spot locations under contract in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and the U.K. This network is a key asset for Boingo’s Platform Services program, a turnkey Wi-Fi service for service providers that also includes award-winning client software and a complete suite of back-office billing and roaming software. The service promotion highlights Boingo’s easy-to-use free Wi-Fi user software and Visacom’s high-quality network. Free Boingo service will be available through the duration of the congress at Boingo’s demonstration stand at the booth of partner TSI Telecommunications Inc. (Hall 2, Stand D55) and at five Visacom hot spot locations near the Cannes congress center, including: the Cannes Palace Hotel, Le Meridien Hotel Garden Beach (Juan les Pins), and at restaurants La Potinière, Le Farfalla, and La Brasserie du Casino. Users need to have a Wi-Fi (802.11b)-enabled computer and the Boingo client, which can be downloaded by connecting to the Internet from any of Visacom’s Cannes locations or from Boingo’s website (www.boingo.com).
